Rhapsody

I am continuing the series of floral paintings I have recently completed. This medium sized watercolor (11x15) was created for a fundraising benefit in Carson City. The proceeds will fund medical expenses of cancer patients in the area. It will be offered for sale at an event on June 23rd. The price will be established just before the sale by my gallery representative, Jeff Pace. If you are interested in purchasing this piece, contact Jeff at artsyfartsy111@gmail.com.

Geraniums II

Continuing my floral series, I am giving you my geraniums. Having grown up in Southern California, the geraniums were everywhere...more a weed than a flower. I loved picking them at my grandparent's. They grew yearound. In Nevada, they are a seasonal treat. My 11x15 geranim painting is for sale at $350, framed. If you are interested in owning this piece, contact me at triciastudio@att.net

Random Orchids

Continuing the theme of flowers ( I am so looking forward to Spring!) I give you my painting of orchids. They are my favorite flowers and this painting expresses the feeling they bring to me. Beautiful shapes and colors that dance across the page bringing a joyfulness that entoxicating and real. This painting is currently in my studio and although it brings me joy, I will part with it for $800. Contact me at triciastudio@att.net if you are interested.

Floral Abundance

This is one of my yupo pieces. If you are wondering what yupo is...it is basically a sheet of plastic. It is interesting to paint on and creates strong color. One of the advantages is that when painting with watercolor, the artist can remove the paint, stamp into it, and add texture. This piece is at Artsy Fartsy Gallery in Carson City. The new address for Artsy Fartsy is 405 N. Nevada Street in Carson City. Stop by to see this piece and many more of mine as well as other artists.
